Pippy Kermode has been appointed as president of the Southern District Agricultural Show for the forthcoming year.

Zoe Hampton, the show’s secretary, said: ‘Pippy and his family play a huge part in the running of the show as hosts and we are extremely grateful to them for all their time and effort.’

The show has also appointed Claire Walker as the vice-president Miss Claire Walker.
