Douglas Council will not be appealing against the planning committee’s decision to reject proposals for a new sea wall.
Planners dismissed application (19/00755/B) for a new £500,000, 500m long, and 1.2m high sea wall designed to protect against storms.
The council was given interested person status so it could have appealed against the decision, but members decided not to.
The Department of Infrastructure has appealed against the decision.
