Dave’s Delicious Dogs, the American style hotdog company, is seeking to expand its Ramsey base.

Dave’s has submitted an application (18/01097/C) to convert Unit 2 Church Walk in St Paul’s Square from retail into a restaurant.

This will allow the restaurant to double in size from its current location in unit three.

In a letter to planners, architect Dave Luton said the company planned to make use of the two employee parking spaces behind the building.

Mr Luton said there will be no change to the front elevations of either of the units.

While customers will be able to use the parking in St Paul’s Square and there is a bus stop less than 100 metres away.

It is expected the company will employ three staff members and be able to serve up to a maximum of 45 customers at one time.

The opening hours would continue to be from mid morning to 11pm Monday to Saturday with the business remaining closed on Sundays.

Dave Valkema, owner of Dave’s Delicious Dogs owns numbers 1, 2 and 3 Church Walk, so will only have to provide a through way between units.
