â?¢Mr and Mrs Tim Anglin of Grenea Cottages, Shore Road Kentraugh Port St Mary, have applied (19/00072/B) to demolish their existing garage/workshop and replace it with a two-storey extension.
The extension will provide an additional bedroom and bathroom as well as a new garage and extra living room and conservatory space.
The work will require some internal alterations.
â?¢An application (19/00076/B) has been made to build an extension to a house in Ramsey to enlarge the existing bedroom and create a new en suite bathroom.
The application was made by Jerry Hughes of Thornhill Park.
â?¢Dr Sarah Whetstone has submitted an application (19/00091/B) to demolish the existing extension at her home at The Crofts in Castletown.
It would be replaced by a larger extension and see the rear bay window being removed and replaced on the first floor.
International changes would see the addition of two dormers and roof lights on the second floor.
The single garage would be demolished and replaced with a garden and sun room but the double garage will be retained.
This application is in association with (19/00092/CON).
â?¢Peter and Lucy Adamson are seeking to erect a new garden storage building at Cornaa House, Ballaglass,Glen Road in Cornaa.
Their application (19/00074/B) states the building would be sympathetic to the style of the existing house built of natural stone and slates.
â?¢The garden of the Glen Mona hotel could be used for fan accommodation during the TT and MGP if an application (19/00077/C) by Oakdale Investments Ltd is approved.
Under the bid, the pub’s beer garden would be used for camping from May 20 to June 14 for TT and August 12 to September 6 for the MGP.
The pub’s facilities such as toilets, parking and communal areas would be available to campers.
There would be 16 plots for the tents and it could also include portable toilet facilities.
