A Pulrose man has been charged with three counts of rape, four counts of indecent assault and two counts of procuring a person under 16 to commit an act of gross indecency.
John William Paton, aged 38, of Oak Avenue, appeared before magistrates last week and is due to be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on August 23.
Two rape charges are alleged to have been committed between July 2007 and July 2009, and one between December 2013 and July 2015.
Two indecent assault charges date from February 2001 to January 2004, and two are dated July 2007 to 2009.
Prosecutor Richard Butters said the charges would be denied. Paton must live at a bail address in Port Erin and must not enter Pulrose. He cannot have contact with any child under 16.
