The arrival of heavy machinery on Peel Road, Douglas, appears to be signalling the beginning of the development of two major franchise stores.

Two diggers were delivered to the former Eurocars site earlier this week.

Planning permission (18/00977/B) was formally granted early this month for the KFC and Starbucks drive through stores despite opposition from residents and, the director of public health Henrietta Ewart’s office and the Department of Education, Sport and Culture through Ballakermeen High School head teacher Adrienne Burnett.
