Cronk-y-Voddy Ploughing Society is holding its 85th annual ploughing match this Saturday, January 15, at Ballagyr Farm in Peel.

The competition begins at 10.30am and continues till 3.15pm.

Refreshments will be available in the marquee throughout the day - all welcome.

There will be no prize presentation or concert during the evening, but this will be held when the society holds its second match next month.

The concert, presentation and supper of both matches will be held in St John’s Methodist Hall on Saturday, February 26.
