The former police station in Castletown still has not transferred into the ownership of Manx National Heritage.

A deal to buy the historic building was struck a year ago.

Jason Moorhouse (Arbory, Castletown and Malew) asked in Tynwald last week whether ownership had transferred to MNH and when plans for the building’s future use would be published.

Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly told him: ’The transfer has not been concluded and I understand there is an outstanding boundary issue.

’I do believe that Manx National Heritage wish to consult on this and they will do so very soon.’

The station was vacated by police in 2017, who moved into new accommodation in Farrant’s Way.
