Police are warning about a scam email.

The email links to a website that will steal your login details, officers say.

A police spokesman said: ‘Manx Telecom is sending out emails about an upgrade but they will come from an MT domain name and are not worded like this email.

‘The genuine email has a link to click but with information only and it does not ask for login or password details.

‘Scammers are trying to use this as an opportunity to steal your information and possibly your money.’

The emails are also addressed to 50 emails at a time and MT would not do that for data protection reasons.
