A director of an organisation that helps people with addiction and mental health problems and former criminals is to give evidence to a Tynwald committee next week.
The social affairs policy review committee will hear from Graham Clucas, director of Quing, on Monday afternoon.
In the morning, Ray Harmer MHK, the chair of Social Policy and Children’s Committee and Glenys Johnston OBE, chair of the Safeguarding Board will speak.
The focus of the hearings will be safeguarding and mental health provision on the Isle of Man.
The members of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee appointed by Tynwald are Julie Edge MHK (chair), Martyn Perkins MHK and Peter Greenhill MLC.
The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public can attend the meeting, which will be held in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Buck’s Road, Douglas.
