People are being invited to share their views about fireworks with a Tynwald body.

The February sitting of Tynwald agreed to set up a three-member committee to consider the operation and practical effects of the Fireworks Act 2004.

The move comes after a public petition was presented on Tynwald day by Judith Corrin.

The committee is now inviting written submissions.

The petition can be found on the Tynwald website.

Submissions should be sent by March 25.

The committee is made up of Daphne Caine MHK, Rob Callister MHK and Kate Lord-Brennan MLC.
