The chairman of the chief executive of the island’s financial regulator will give evidence to a Tynwald scrutiny committee.

Financial Services Authority chairman Lillian Boyle and chief executive Karen Badgerow will appear before the economic policy review committee on Thursday (February 7).

The hearing, taking place in the Legislative Council chamber on Bucks Road, Douglas, starting at 2.30pm, is an annual general oral evidence session at which a range of topics will be discussed.

Evidence will be taken in public.

Members of the public are welcome to attend, and the proceedings can also be heard on the ’live and listen again’ audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.

The members of the economic policy review committee, appointed by Tynwald, are MHKs Chris Robertshaw (chairman), Tim Baker and Jason Moorhouse.

Tynwald resolved in May 2014 that the chief executive of the financial regulator is required to give evidence in public to the economic policy review committee.
