The government’s Freedom of Information disclosure log is out of action.

It is understood that the on-line log of all FoI responses has not be working for more than a week now.

Anyone trying to access an FoI response will see a message which reads: ’We currently have a fault with the search, which we are working on.

’We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will have it resolved as soon as possible.

A government spokesman said: ’This is being worked on by engineers from both GTS and the supplier.

’We do hope that it will be up and running very soon. It does not affect requesting information or the requester receiving it.’
