Ray Harmer MHK has announced he’s running in September’s general election for Glenfaba and Peel. First elected in 2016, he’s held the position of Minister of Infrastructure before being made Minister for Policy and Reform.

He said: ’It has been an honour to represent and support the people of Glenfaba and Peel over the last five years.
’Now funding has been achieved, I will continue to fight for the Peel Sewage Plant to be built, producing safe bathing for all the family, and the science, technology, engineering and mathematics block at QEII school to be up and running.’
The other candidate to have announced so far for Glenfaba and Peel is Kate Lord-Brennan MLC.
