Residents returning to the island will be able to quarantine at home from this Wednesday, the Chief Minister has confirmed.
Howard Quayle said that returning residents will have to match set criteria including proving they can live away from anyone else.
Residents must be able to go to stay somewhere, either their home, a hotel or a other accommodation where no one else will be living except those who have travelled back to the island.
They must also remain indoors for 14 days, with the only exception to go into a private garden that is not shared with others.
Mr Quayle also confirmed that those currently staying at the Comis Hotel, will be able to go home if they can match these requirements.
We will have more details on these changes in Tuesday’s Examiner available in shops and online.
