Inflation remained steady last month.
The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index held at 1,8% for June. Transport and education were the most significant contributors. Air travel increased by 6% and pre-school fees rose by 4.4%. Housing led to a 0.1% reduction in the overall rate, with the biggest decrease being a 3% cut in the prices for oil and other fuels.
