The first results have been announced in this year’s general election.

They are for Douglas South, the constituency that encompasses Pulrose, Anagh Coar, Farmhill and the Saddlestone area.

Manx Labour Party member Sarah Maltby topped the poll by just two votes and joins the Keys for the first time.

She received 1,244.

Clare Christian, who was defending her seat, received 1,242 and returns as an MHK.
