Tanya August-Hanson MLC has been made the new vice chairman. of the Isle of Man Post Office.

Miss August-Hanson, who was elected on to the Legislative Council in March, will take over from Clare Bettison MHK, who has been the Post Office’s vice chairman since April last year.

Julie Edge MHK, chairman of Post Office, said: ’The board of Isle of Man Post Office is looking forward to working with Miss August-Hanson MLC and we wish to extend our appreciation to our outgoing vice chairman Clare Bettison MHK for her hard work and contribution she has given to Isle of Man Post Office.’

The Post Office is a state body that is chaired by a politician.
