The latest labour market report shows the number of people registered unemployed was 822 in February.

This represents a fall in unemployment rate for February to 1.9%, compared with 2.4% for January.

Compiled by the government economic affairs team, the report documents the number of registered unemployed as having increased by 433 compared with February 2020.

A total of 652 job vacancies were notified to the Job Centre in February 2021, an increase of 252 compared to January.

At the end of the month, 434 remained - of which 237 were full-time positions and 197 were part time.
