The Public Accounts Committee is inviting the public and organisations to submit ideas for questions to be asked at a post-budget evidence session.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan and chief financial officer Sheila Lowe will give evidence at the sitting to be held in the Legislative Council Chamber on Wednesday April 11 at 2.30pm.
Committee chairman Juan Watterson said: ’This post-budget oral evidence session follows a similar session in 2017 and a more recent session where the Government Accounts were discussed with the Treasury Minister and chief financial officer.
’Once again we would like to know what questions the public would like to have answers to.
’We can’t guarantee to ask all questions as received. It depends on how many submissions we have but we are keen to understand what topics are of most interest.’
Submissions should be sent to the committee clerk by noon on March 22.
The sitting is open to the public. Proceedings will be streamed live via the Tynwald website.
