Who would you like to be the next chief minister?

We have been conducting a poll by email and cut-out coupon.

The deadline was noon today (Monday) and it has now closed.

We think our poll will be more credible than an online tick poll, which might be easier to manipulate.

Readers were asked to email [email protected]

Simply write the name of the candidate in the email header.

Please include a phone number on your email. We will phone a number of people who email us to check authenticity. The deadline will be noon on Monday and the results published in the Isle of Man Examiner on the day of the vote - Tuesday.

We will accept only one vote per email address.

We will delete all the emails on Tuesday morning.

A coupon was also printed in last week's editions of the Manx Independent and the Isle of Man Courier.
