The Moddey Dhoo bike club will host another show in Peel during the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT.

The show will be in the same spot on Marine Parade on Peel promenade as during the TT, from 11am on Tuesday, August 28.

Andy Scullard, of the Moddey Dhoo, said: ’The format of the show will be similar to the TT event, then it will carry on into the evening as a social event with more live music.’

The show will feature a variety of displays as well as the live music and bike show.

’We are extending an open invitation to members and friends to join us for the evening,’ Mr Scullard said.

The next day the club will host its annual Memorial R ’*’ R Dance. This takes place at the Manx Legion Club, North Quay, Douglas, from 7.30pm, on Wednesday, August 29.

Admission is £5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Southern 100 Supporters’ Club.

The Rockits will provide live music and a traditional white policeman’s helmet, donated by Chief Constable Gary Roberts, and autographed by TT riders will be auctioned on the night.
