Port St Mary Lifeboat is from 12.30pm on Sunday, August 4, at the Alfred pier.

The event will be opened by Sir Miles Walker, the compere is Chris Williams and music is by Shoddywaddy and Southern Belles. There’s the chance to climb on board the branch’s all-weather Trent class, Douglas’ Mersey class and Port Erin’s Atlantic lifeboats, also see Rushen emergency ambulance, the coastguard and a fire engine. There is an exhibition on the history of Port St Mary lifeboat.

There will be a barbecue, stalls and games plus the grand draw.
