This evening’s Ben-my-Chree sailing to Heysham, and the return from the Lancashire port in the early hours of tomorrow morning, are subject to cancellation.

The forecast of strong winds and the arrival of Storm Ellen has led to the possible disruption. A final decision will be made by the ship’s master at 6pm as to whether the sailings will go ahead.

Further disruption could follow on late Thursday/Friday with more gales forecast. Thursday evening’s trip to Heysham, plus the scheduled sailings to both Heysham and Liverpool on Friday are subject to disruption or cancellation aside from the latter day’s evening service to Heysham which is still listed as departing on time at 7.45pm.
