It will cost 5p more to post a letter from April 3.
The price of stamps is rising to 52p.
Isle of Man Post Office chairman Julie Edge MHK said: ’With mail volumes continuing to decline and the impact of an increase in overall costs, rises are inevitable.’
A spokesman said the increase ’still represents excellent value for money and the Isle of Man will continue to be the cheapest postal provider in the British Isles and offer one of the lowest postage rates across Europe for a first class service’.
In the UK, first class stamps are going up to 67p and second class are going up to 58p.
