Andrew Kennaugh won best in show at the Southern Chrysanthemum Society’s annual show with a large pot plant.

The show took place at Morton Hall, in Castletown, at the weekend, with classes for confectionery and vegetable classes as well as chrysanthemums.

Other winners included John Corkish, who impressed judges with his collection of vegetables.

This year was the 60th time that John had entered the show.

Meanwhile, judge John Moore picked out Michael Pemberton’s chrysanthemum blooms as a winner.
