Rushen Heritage Trust’s Pudding Club will be resuming next Thursday, February 11, at midday in St Catherine’s Church Hall in Port Erin.
The Trust’s fundraising event costs £7, for which people will get a choice of homemade soup, with the options of: Manx broth, tomato and basil, carrot and coriander, leek and potato, spicy parsnip, celery or chicken broth and minestrone.
The pudding options are: Apple strudel, jam sponge, Eton mess, sticky toffee, bread and butter, sherry trifle and plum.
Further meetings of the club will take place every Thursday in February and March, excluding the first Thursday of the month.
More than 50 people attended the inaugural event on December 31, before lockdown put a stop to any further meetings.
John Quirk of Rushen Heritage Trust said it was ’incredibly popular’ and that they had run out of food towards the end, with upcoming events having now been ’rejigged’ in order to have more food prepared and ’be back better than ever’.
