This year Queen Elizabeth II High School’s performing arts department is putting on a summer showcase based around the concept of freedom.
Pupils aged 11 to 15 have been thinking about what ’freedom’ means to them and how they can express it through music, drama or dance.
They have come up with a wide range of creative ideas and the Peel-based school says they have put together some fantastic performances.
The showcase will feature performances from the junior and senior choirs, the drama group, Club Kiaull, dance group, ensembles and solo performances.
The performances will take place in the main hall over two evenings.
Tickets are now on sale from the school reception and are priced at £4 for adults, £2.00 for children or £10 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).
The events take place on Friday, July 7, and Saturday, July 8.
