Crogga Valley Railway, the private miniature estate railway in Santon owned by Christopher Beauman and operated entirely by volunteers, played host to a successful fundraising event raising more than £2,500 for two charities, Rebecca House Children’s Hospice in the Isle of Man and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

About 350 people turned up were entertained with rides around the estate and provided with refreshments.
The prizes for an end-of-day raffle were donated by a companies including Shoprite , Ellan Vannin Fuels and Driver.im
