Rain and drizzle will clear in the afternoon.

The Met Office forecast for today (Thursday): ‘Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will continue to affect the island this morning, before gradually clearing northwards early this afternoon, leaving the rest of the afternoon dry but still cloudy.

‘Breezy with the southwest wind increasing fresh to strong with highs of 19°C.

‘This evening and tonight will be mostly dry but cloudy with the risk of some coastal mist developing.

‘Minimum temperature near to 13°C with the southwest wind easing to become mainly moderate.’
