Rain will become heavier this afternoon.

The Met Office forecast for Monday: ‘Often cloudy today with outbreaks of rain developing around mid-morning but becoming more heavy and persistent this afternoon.

‘Moderate southwest winds at first will freshen during the day, temperatures up to 17 Celsius.’
