St James’s church in Dalby celebrates its 180th anniversary this week with a musical festival concert.

Taking place ronight (Friday), from 7pm, the evening features music from Morag Withey, Erin Loach, Dilys Sowrey and Paul Costain, accompanied by Jill Collings, and is hosted by Judith Ley.

Admission is £10, which includes a Dalby country supper, available by phoning 844031.

Proceeds of the conert will go to Mannin Sepsis and the Manx charity the Pahar Trust Nepal, as well as to Dalby Church Restoration Fund.
