A long-running musical appreciation society based in the north of the island begins its autumn and winter programme next month.
The Ramsey Music Society will welcome the Japanese classical pianist Yu Kosuge for its first concert of the 2019 and 2020 season.
Last year, Yu performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in Japan, as well as releasing her latest CD, ’Four Elements Volume One: Water’.
The concert will be held at the Ramsey Grammar School West building on Monday, September 16, from 7.30pm.
There are six concerts in the season, and admission is £12 per show, with a season ticket also available, priced £60.
