Two young rising stars of British classical music are to perform in the north of the island next week.
The Ramsey Music Society are to start their 2019 programme with a concert by the classical duo of clarinet player Joseph Shiner and pianist Edward Liddall.
Both musicians have performed at concerts both across the UK and internationally, both in solo and as part of renowned orchestras, and have also won an array of prestigious awards.
Joseph Shiner made his London debut solo performance in 2011 with the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra, and was a public finalist for the young classical artists trust in 2015.
He was also featured as a rising star in the BBC Music magazine in 2016.

He is currently the artist-in-residence at Lancing College.
Edward is a pianist who has studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and also at the Royal College of Music.
He has performed, both as a solo pianist and as a chamber musician at the Barbican, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and at the New Philharmonic Hall in Bratislava.
The concert takes place at the Ramsey Grammar School Hall on Monday, January 14, from 7.30pm.
