The regeneration scheme in Port Erin will finish no later than May 26 says commissioners’ clerk Jason Roberts.The scheme - involving new paving, redesign of the station, new street furniture and lighting - has had a big impact on traders as it required closure of the main road to traffic.Mr Roberts told commissioners the junction of Station and Bay View Roads will be closed from 6am on May 18 to 6pm on May 19 at the latest for work on the corner.Reports of motorists driving the wrong way from the promenade along Station Road have been reported to the police.
