The River Dhoo has been given the all-clear after a member of the public raised pollution concerns.
Officials from the Environmental Protection Unit and Manx Utilities carried out an inspection of a stretch of the Dhoo between Douglas and Union Mills earlier today (Friday).
But they found no signs of contamination.
Manx Utilities confirmed there are no issues with its infrastructure in the area including the newly constructed Ballagarey sewage treatment works.
No part of the Heritage Trail has been closed.
Members of the public with concerns about possible contamination of a river are requested to contact the Environmental Protection Unit by emailing [email protected]
