Many roads have been hit by snow.

The Department of Infrastructure’s staff are trying to clear affected closed roads but snowfall is heavy with strong winds.

The roads closed are:

Tholt Y Will

Beinn-y-Phott,

Much of the Mountain Road

The Sloc

The rain and sleet at first this morning, which is falling as snow over higher ground will soon clear away, leaving mostly dry conditions with bright intervals and only isolated showers. The strong to gale force winds will gradually swing westerly through the day, with temperatures rising to 8 or 9 Celsius in the morning before dropping to around 6 Celsius by the end of the day.

Cold and breezy on Tuesday and Wednesday, but bright with sunny spells and only isolated wintry showers. Temperatures limited to around 7 Celsius.
