Wear your wackiest odd socks to raise awareness of Down Syndrome.
Down Syndrome Awareness Isle of Man is asking residents to wear mismatching socks today (Wednesday) as a conversation starter about the genetic disorder.
The event is in conjunction with World Down Syndrome Awareness Day on March 21.
Socks have been chosen because ’no matter what they look like, their purpose is the same’.
A spokesman said: ’There are some common, old-fashioned stereotypes and misconceptions about Down Syndrome.’
Post your sock photos on the Down Syndrome Awareness IOM Facebook page with the hashtag #rockyoursocksIOM.
