The Royal Show has been cancelled today due to the bad weather.

The show directors said they had cancelled the event at Knockale, Patrick, today on health and safety grounds.

The show ground is open to trade stand holders on foot only so they can inspect any damage.

They can park in car park A but they have been advised they enter the show ground entirely at their own risk.

Due to the show being cancelled today the one-way system is suspended.

And organisers say they will spend the day tidying up ahead of tomorrow’s show.
