Rugby star Brad Barritt is to visit the Isle of Man next month.
The Saracens skipper will hold a coaching session with young Manx rugby players during his time in the island.
The night before, February 6, the South African-born former England player will give a talk about his life in sport to an invited audience at a dinner organised by Standard Bank.
Barritt recently played his 250th match for Saracens, where he has won five Premierships and three European Cups, becoming just the second ever captain to lift the European Cup three times.
Barritt is due a testimonial at the club this summer which Standard Bank is sponsoring, raising funds for the LIV charity which supports orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa, placing them in a family environment.
The chief executive of Standard Bank Isle of Man, Chris Till, said: ’As rugby is close to the hearts of many who work for Standard Bank, especially in South Africa following their World Cup win, there will also be a raffle to raise funds for Manx rugby, with prizes including flights and accommodation to London to attend a Saracens match at Allianz Park.’
