Wednesday morning’s Ben-my-Chree sailing to Heysham has been brought forward due to the adverse weather forecast.

The Steam Packet’s flagship will now leave Douglas at 7.30am instead of the usual departure time of 8.45am.

However, a final decision as to whether the sailing will make the trip to Lancashire will be made by the ship’s master around 6.15am.

If the sailing does go ahead the return journey from Heysham will also be brought forward from 2.15pm to 12.30pm.

A decision on the evening trip to Heysham and its return to Douglas in the early hours of Thursday morning will be made by 5.30pm on Wednesday.
