A parade of santas on bikes, including one joining from Liverpool, will take place in aid of Rebecca House Isle of Man.
Bikers will gather at the TT Grandstand ahead of their fundraising journey, which will see them complete a lap around island roads.
This year a motorbike enthusiast is travelling from Liverpool to take part in the island’s Santas on Bikes event on Saturday.
Father-of-one Steven Dunn, 37, will join hundreds of bikers festively dressed after learning about Rebecca House on a visit to watch the world-famous TT races.
Mr Dunn has taken part in several biking events in the UK and has raised thousands of pounds for charities.
Steven said: ’As a father, the thought of your child being ill is just unimaginable and after hearing about the invaluable work Rebecca House does from a friend in the Isle of Man I knew I wanted to do something to help.
’Santas on a Bike is a great idea and a fun way to raise money for a good cause. I’m looking forward to decorating the bike, perfecting my outfit and hitting the road.’
All bikes, trikes and quads are welcome, and the ride is fully L plate friendly.
The hour-long route stretches from the Grandstand to the Sea Terminal to the NSC outdoor track in Douglas to Castletown before coming back to the Isle of Man Business Park and then later a lap of honour past Rebecca House to Governor’s Hill.
From there they will return to the Grandstand.
Participants will meet at 10am, for an 11am start.
Rebecca House provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
