More than 380 bikers helped raise more than a few smiles as well as over £30,000 for children’s hospice Rebecca House on Saturday.

Organised by telecoms solutions provider plan.com, the annual Santas on a Bike procession started at the Sea Terminal before heading to Castletown.

The throng of bikes then returned to the capital to finish outside Hospice Isle of Man.

Commenting on the popular annual event which raised £30,735.76, event organiser Nicola Patterson said: ’On behalf of the team at plan.com we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported Santa’s on a Bike 2020.

’From donations and tombola prizes, to event support and logistics, this was a true team effort and the end result was fantastic.

’We’re extremely fortunate on the Isle of Man that events like this can go ahead, however that does not mean that the impact of the pandemic has not been felt.

’Charities like Rebecca House need our help more than ever and we are so proud to have raised such a fantastic amount for an extremely worthwhile cause.’
