Charity Save the Children is appealing for funds to help Afghan refugees and Haitians hit by August 14’s earthquake.

Donations can be given through any of its shops, or by cheque made payable to Save the Children, posted to Mr John Cuddy, 50 Banks Howe, Onchan IM3 2ER.

The charity’s three island shops - in Douglas, Port Erin and Ramsey - are open again.
