Owners of schnauzer dogs will be gathering at the Millennium Oakwood near the hospital to raise money for rescue dogs.

It will take place on October 13 at 11am, bringing together local dogs, their humans and other canine friends.

Schnauzerfest also publicises puppy farming, when unscrupulous and irresponsible breeders produce puppies that have been confined in sheds, barns, kennels and places where little, or no care is provided.
