A Jet Ski which carried a Scotsman from the Isle of Whithorn to Ramsey is being sold on eBay.
Dale McLaughlan, 28, made the dangerous four-and-a-half-hour journey on the red and black Sea-Doo Spark Jet Ski to see his girlfriend, despite border restrictions making it illegal to cross Manx waters.
The item, shown above entering Ramsey Harbour in Noel Corlett’s photo, is now up for bidding via eBay, the current highest bid being £5,300.
Condition of the water vehicle is listed as: ’Used in great condition, some age-related marks but otherwise runs perfect.’

Bidders can expect to collect the Jet Ski in person from Douglas, if they are successful in the online auction which ends tomorrow afternoon (Friday).
Additional notes on the listing read: ’For sale is 2015 Sea-Doo Spark 2 up 90 bhp which famously crossed the Irish Sea on December 11 from Isle of Whithorn to Ramsey over 4.5 hours.
