The Sulby Horticultural Show will take place in the Lezayre Parish Community Hall on Saturday from 1.30pm.
It will be its 71st show and opened by Tim Baker, MHK.
Classes include fruit, vegetables, photography, pot plants, floral art, soft handicrafts, hard handicrafts, art, honey, eggs, preserves, alcohol, confectionery and the Junior classes. All 34 junior classes offer a cash prize to all placed entries.
Admission is £1, children are free when accompanied by an adult.
For the children, there is the ’bumble bee treasure hunt’ going on throughout the afternoon and for all visitors, there’s a selection of homemade refreshments available.
There will also be a raffle, which organisers say is ’incredibly well supported with wonderful prizes’.
Tickets are available only on the show day.
A spokesman said: ’The show has a refreshing modern approach with a strong Facebook presence and never forgets its important roots with another special vintage recipe within the confectionery class, linking back to its origins in 1946.’
