A traditional concert which celebrates pomp, pageantry and popular classical music takes place in the south this weekend.
The Rushen Silver Band will host their own ’Last Night of the Proms’ concert at the Erin Arts Centre, on Saturday, September 21, from 7.30pm.
The band will perform all the classic ’proms’ pieces, including ’Land of Hope And Glory’, ’Fantasia on British Sea Songs’, ’Jerusalem’ and Rule Britannia’, accompanied by soloist Mandy Griffin.
Tickets are £10, with £2 for under 18s, available from the Erin Arts Centre box office, on 832662
