The Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for hail and snow on higher ground tonight.

The warning said to expect hail/snow showers from 6pm to 10pm that could make driving conditions difficult.

Slight accumulations are forecast above 1,000ft and temporarily above 800ft, before gradually thawing later.

The police added: ’Please remember roads may become slippery and visibility may become poor at times.’
