Police are warning this morning that there is some snow on the mountain road.
But it’s not enough to close it.
The Beinn-y-Phott road between the mountain road and Brandywell Cottage has been closed.
The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Rain will be heavy at first this morning with some sleet or wet snow possible over the hilltops, until clearing to scattered showers around dawn, with the chance of some brighter spells this afternoon. The fresh to strong northeast wind will turn to the north or northwest and ease during the day with a top temperature around 7°C.

After a cold and frosty start, tomorrow will be dry and bright with some sunny spells. However it will turn cloudy during the evening as rain spreads across the island overnight. Highest temperature around 9°C, as the light westerly wind turns to the south or southwest and becomes strong to near gale force by evening.
Saturday will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain which will often be heavy, before clearing to scattered showers during the afternoon. Windy with a strong to gale force south to southwest wind, which will turn to the west or southwest and ease as the rain clears. Maximum temperature of 11°C.
